Since 2003, we have been running a community dinner for the over 50s on a Saturday every other month. We serve a delicious three-course meal along with live music, and it provides the chance for people to socialise and make new friends.

The meal begins with a soup starter. The roast main comes with all the trimmings, and the beef option has proved very popular, particularly with those who rarely get the chance to have beef due to being on low incomes. It finishes with a delicious dessert. Since starting the dinners, they have grown and proven to be a popular meeting place in the community. We have up to 100 people attend each community meal. Booking is necessary, and opens on the 1st month in which the dinner is happening.

When: 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm, selected Saturdays throughout the year
